For every solution that we design and deploy, we need to deploy the associated licenses. We’ve answered some common questions on this below.
Who is a digital partner of record?
The Partner of Record for Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, Dynamics 365, Power Platform (Power BI / Power Apps / Power Automate), and Microsoft Azure subscriptions, is the partner who is helping the customer design, build, deploy or manage a solution that they’ve built on the service.
When should I add the DPOR to our tenant?
This should be assigned prior to our solution being rolled out.
We have a Managed Service Provider (MSP) / internal I.T team that looks after our tenant and licenses, can’t they do it?
We are a Microsoft Designated Partner, and for us to retain that status, Microsoft require visibility of all the solutions that we deploy – this can only be done through the assignment of DPOR for all our solutions. Doing this provides complete transparency to all parties.
Does DPOR mean you have access to our tenant?
Once you allocate DPOR to Bespoke, we can allocate licenses to your tenant, but we cannot allocate users or access any information or data from within your tenant.
Does it cost us anything to connect a DPOR to our tenant?
Nothing at all!
If you have any further questions, please get in touch with your Bespoke Account Manager.
